Since 1991, Bittersweet Antiques has collected and sold a diverse range of 18th & 19th century English ceramics. Our specialties are transferware, in all colors, and Staffordshire figures but we also offer significant inventories of English lustreware, creamware, pearlware and children’s china along with period portrait miniatures, silhouettes and other appropriate accessories.

We strive to buy English ceramics of the highest quality, with an emphasis on condition and uniqueness, and we are committed to customer satisfaction. Many of our clients are discerning collectors, but we are also happy to work with new collectors and others seeking to learn about English ceramics.

We exhibit at antique shows throughout New England and have a shop that is open by chance or appointment throughout the year.
